MENTOR A YOUNG WOMAN. MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR A LIFETIME.

MENTORING girls and young woman in the STEM fields can make a difference for a lifetime and help close the achievement gap between boys and girls.

What will you do?

Mentors will support a small team of girls who want to continue their STEM + Entrepreneurship problem-solving journey after attending Camp. The selection of your team depends on your expertise. You will facilitate the group and guide them on their way to solving the challenge. Each challenge will be from the UN Global Goals list of some of the world’s biggest challenges. Technology must be part of the solution.

How often will you meet?

Mentors meet with their groups regularly over 6-7 months—in person or over Skype. As a mentor, you want to set a pace that creates momentum and supports girls when they need extra effort. Girls are invited to pitch their ideas at Camp. You are invited to attend, but it is not a requirement.

Who can sign up?
Anyone with science, engineering, math or entrepreneurial knowledge looking to be a positive role model for young women or girls can be a Mentor.
