Age: 13-16 years old
High5Girls invites you to an exciting program where you’ll build your own website – completely from scratch. Together with the talented women from Umbraco, we’ll open the door to the digital world and show you how creativity meets technology in a safe and cozy community filled with curiosity, laughter, and great energy. It’s the perfect chance to try something new, meet other girls with similar interests, and dive into how tech can be creative, visual, and truly fun.
Umbraco is a tool used by professional web developers in companies big and small all over the world to build websites. In this program, you’ll get an introduction to how it can be used – in a fun and simple way that doesn’t require any programming experience.
What will we do?
During the program, you will:
- Build a website – play with structure and design so it works and looks great.
- Add content – work with images and text and see how everything comes together.
- Go behind the scenes – get insight into how websites are built in the real world.
- Create your own universe – from idea to digital product you can show off.
Who can join?
This workshop is for you if you:
- Want to try something new and challenge yourself.
- Are curious about how creativity and technology can be combined.
- Want to be part of a community where we lift and inspire each other.
No experience required – the most important thing is the desire to join and try things out.
Practical info
- The program will be in English, and there will be plenty of help and support along the way.
- Bring your computer and charger so you have something to build your website on.
- We’ll be at Umbraco’s headquarters in Odense C.
