“Bæredygtighed og Mad”
“Har du nogensinde været på indkøb og stået med to produkter i hænderne og spekuleret på: Hvordan får jeg noget af vide om deres bæredygtighed? Hvilken skal jeg vælge, hvis jeg vil tænke på miljøet?”
Vi ved alle, at nogle produkter er hårdere ved miljøet at fremstille end andre – men hvordan navigerer vi, hvis vi vil handle mere miljøvenligt? På denne Hackathon dykker vi ned i fødevareproduktion, CO2-aftryk og giver dig viden og indsigt i et komplekst område, nemlig bæredygtig fødevareproduktion. Vi har lavet dette program i samarbejde med 6 kvindelige ingeniører inden for bæredygtig energi.
Sammen vil vi se på, hvordan og hvorfor fødevareproduktion har store konsekvenser for vores miljø. Vi vil arbejde med konkrete produkteksempler, og derefter vil du være i stand til at træffe mere bevidste valg, når du køber ind. Du vil også blive introduceret til de nyeste teknologier, der gør det muligt for os mennesker at reducere vores fodaftryk.
Endelig vil I blive udfordret til at tænke som iværksættere, når I prøver jeres egne ideer og opfinder et nyt bæredygtigt produkt.

Hackathon er på engelsk så du skal kunne noget engelsk – der vil være dansktalende tilstede til at hjælpe så du behøver ikke være 100% engelsktalende men have et rimeligt kendskab og interesse i at prøve at opleve engelsk for en dag;) Tilmelding sker til Mette på mm@high5girls.dk “Sustainable Food” Age: 13-15 Have you ever been shopping and held two products in your hands wondering “How do I know about their sustainability? Which one should I choose if I want to think about the environment?” We all know that some products have a greater impact on the environment than others – but how do we navigate if we want to shop more environmentally friendly? On this Hackathon we will dive into food production, CO2 footprint and give you knowledge and insight into a complex field of food production including packaging. We have made this program in cooperation with 6 Sustainable Energy women Engineers. Together, we will address how and why food production has big consequences on our environment. We will work with concrete product examples and you will be able to make more conscious decisions when shopping. You will also be introduced to some of the available technologies recently developed to reduce our footprint resulting from food production and consumption. Finally, you will be challenged to think like entrepreneurs creating a new sustainable product … trying it out!

The Hackathon will be held in English. It will be possible to ask questions to a Danish speaking person in case there are issues because of the language, but you’ll need to be able to understand some English and have an interest in learning more.
