GOOD ENERGY ALL ROUND

High5Girls was founded by Marianne Andersen in 2018. As a young engineering student, she herself lacked role models as she was the only female in the class when studying electronic engineering. During 25 years in the Medical Tech industry as a product and business developer, she saw very few female engineers in Research and Development and when looking back at her career she saw a need to give passion for STEM back to the world and to show the next generation that STEM is also for girls – it is creative, exiting and it is about helping people and society.

Together with Mette Meltinis, the High5Girls concept was developed. I 2022 the High5Girls concept was evaluated externally by Rambøll Management. Along the way, several women have joined High5Girls, and together they have built the effective NGO that High5Girls is today.
