Imagine sitting with your friends but not being able to hear what they're saying. Imagine music turning into nothing but noise. Imagine constantly having to ask people to repeat themselves.
During a visit to Demant, you'll discover how technology can help people hear the world around them.
You'll explore sound and echoes, try soldering electronics, and experience how an idea develops into a finished product. Along the way, you'll follow the journey from the very first concepts and experiments to the technology that helps people hear better in their everyday lives.
You'll also meet some of the people who work with sound, electronics, and product development, and get a behind-the-scenes look at a company that develops hearing technology for people all over the world.
We’ll have inspiring conversations about education and how parents can support their daughters along the way. Research shows that in 75% of cases, mothers are the ones who talk with their daughters about education. This makes them important role models in helping girls explore opportunities, believe in themselves, and feel supported in choosing their educational path.

I am an optical engineer with a PhD in laser physics. I love working with light and discovering how it can be used in amazing ways.
I’ve explored both industry and research, because I enjoy trying new things and challenging myself to grow. My biggest passion is turning ideas into real products that can make a difference in the world.
I truly believe that science and technology should be for everyone, and that no one should feel left out because of stereotypes or expectations.
Let’s break those barriers together, and build a future where curiosity, creativity, and confidence shine just as brightly as any laser.

I’m an engineer with a background in Telecommunications Engineering and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. My journey across disciplines shaped how I approach problem‑solving, combining analytical thinking, creativity, and a strong focus on real-world impact. Today, I work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and people, where I help turn complex ideas into meaningful solutions. As a High5Girls role model, I’m passionate about showing girls that STEM is not about fitting into a box, but about curiosity, courage, and using technology to make a difference.
